Visiting Honduras

February 25th 2012

I thought I’d post up a few pictures from my recent trip to visit cocoa plantations in Honduras. It was a stunning and captivating trip with some of the world’s leading chocolate experts, growers, chocolate makers and me.

Our travels took us from Honduran plantation of Frank Homann of Xoco (who organised the trip) with one million grafted Mayan Red cocoa trees all the way to the remarkable tiny island of Grahams Place, Guanaja Islands for the very first Direct Cocoa conference organised by World chocolate expert Martin Christy.

To put in words what we experienced, tasted and learned is impossible so here are a few moments of an amazing trip to give you a taste of something extraordinary and unique.
